Marketplace FAQs

Darwin Marketplace is a comprehensive platform designed to match buyers and sellers in the Analytics market with a special emphasis on Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) and Extended Planning & Analytics (xP&A). The marketplace provides a seamless experience for supporting a wide range of products and services. A key differentiator for buyers from this marketplace is access to proven prebuilt solutions that are engineered for fast deployments, high value and advanced process support – and a global network of high caliber teams that implement and support the most effective EPM and xP&A solutions available.

Navigate to the Darwin Marketplace by clicking the "Darwin Marketplace" option in the main menu. Here, you will find a wide range of modules and services available. As you browse the available products and services, you can build your “Solution Basket” of analytics components you are interested in learning more about. Remember you need to select a reseller or to be referred to resellers in order to learn more about these products and services. From there, your chosen reseller will contact you, or you will be given several resellers to choose from.

This is how solution components are grouped to gather more information. Think of it like a shopping cart to store the products and services you are interested to learn more about as you browse the marketplace. When taking the next step with the contents of your Solution Basket, a reseller will contact you to answer questions, provide demonstrations, and provide estimates for your business’ specific needs.

Browse through the modules and services offered. Once you find a product or service that fits your needs, click "Add to Solution Basket." You can add multiple products and services to create a comprehensive, customized solution tailored to your specific requirements.

To initiate a conversation with the vendor, click "My Solution" in the top right to inquire with a vendor associated with your customized solution. Darwin Marketplace will send your Solution Basket to a qualified vendor that can start a conversation implement your solution.

Darwin Analytics seeks to assist customers in establishing long term relationships with trusted advisors in our Reseller network. These resellers can bring in any consultants that may be from their team or other Darwin Analytics network system integrators. The strength of our network means you have choices to select the right team with the right skills for your needs. However, we ask you select only one Reseller to act as a coordinator across any Darwin Analytics Marketplace products or services you elect to purchase. While we recommend continuity, especially at the Reseller level, we understand sometimes customers would prefer a different Reseller. Under such circumstances, customers can submit a Reseller cancellation form. Please remember, switching resellers applies to all Darwin Analytics Marketplace products and services anywhere in a customer’s environment, so such a change should be done very thoughtfully as it may have a far reaching impact.

Detailed information to include demos, whitepapers, references, licensing costs and estimated services are exclusively available through Resellers. For this reason, selecting a reseller is a critical step to learning more about Darwin Analytics Marketplace offerings. If you haven’t selected your preferred reseller and aren’t sure which Reseller you would like to engage with, Darwin offers to introduce you to several from which you can select your best fit. Simply select “help me choose” in the drop down menu from the reseller menu, and your interests and contact information will be forwarded on to several resellers. They will promptly introduce themselves and provide next steps for your evaluation.

Darwin Analytics Marketplace offers product generic and content specific training, in addition to bespoke training that can be exactly what you want. Please work with your Reseller to select the best training offering that fits how your organization prefers to learn.

We understand! Each of the offerings comes with a brief overview video that Marketplace browsers can view independently of a Reseller. However, due to the complexities of these solutions, for best results we recommend selecting a Reseller who is best positioned from a geographic location, language, technology or process expertise (depending on your priority) that can best guide you through your evaluation. Of course you are under no obligation to buy any products or services. Our reseller network from around the world stands ready to assist qualified buyers in their evaluation of EPM, xP&A and Analytics solutions.

The onboarding process typically takes 4-6 weeks. This includes application review, training on Darwin Analytics, certification, and establishing your presence on the marketplace.
